Matriarch of Yeoh family passes away at 96 - 13 October 2004 9:55:31 AM

The matriarch of the renowned Yeoh family, Madam Ng Kim Sik, passed away peacefully at the age of 96. She is survived by sons Yeoh Tiong Seng, Tan Sri Dato' Seri (Dr.) Yeoh Tiong Lay and Dr Peter Yeoh Tiong Yong, and daughters Yeoh Poh Choo, Yeoh Poo Yok and Yeoh Poh Lian. Among her well-known grandchildren are Tan Sri (Dr.) Francis Yeoh, who is the managing director of YTL Corp Bhd and his brothers Datuk Yeoh Seok Kian, Datuk Yeoh Seok Hong, Datuk Michael Yeoh and Datuk Mark Yeoh. As a mark of respect for the late Madam Ng, all YTL offices and sites will closed on Saturday, 16 October. [more...]
