Arctic heats up and Pugh dives in

LIFE could be a breeze for lawyer Lewis Gordon Pugh: he has brains and movie-star good looks. He read law, after all, in Jesus College in Cambridge University, one of the top five universities in the world. However, the 38-year-old, English by birth but raised in South Africa, chose a more global pursuit in life. He wanted the world to sit up and take note of the dangers of global warming. How? He went for a swim in the Arctic.

YTL Power has scored highly and come up tops in CLSA’s Corporate Governance Watch 2007, a report which highlights attitudes to corporate governance in Asia. The company ranked No.1 in terms of “Clean & Green” scoring in Malaysia, with an overall score of 55%.
