KL to power down for Earth

Others who pledged to join DBKL were KLCC Holdings Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Hashim Wahir, KL Tower chief executive officer Datuk Zuraidah Mohd Said, Andrew Lee from the KL City Gallery and YTL Corp Bhd representative Ralph Justin Dixon.
Ahmad Phesal said that DBKL had collaborated with WWF-Malaysia to make KL one of the 7,000 cities across 153 countries participating in Earth Hour. He said all non-essential lighting and appliances at all DBKL buildings would be switched off this Saturday during the event.
