- A man decides to dig a well. The villagers are baffled as there are already other wells around, but the man insists that a deeper well is needed which will not run dry.
- True enough, a drought comes, and the man’s perseverance and hard work pays off. The well was able to sustain the villagers where all the other wells dried up.
- Like the man who chose to dig a deeper well, YTL believes that doing the right thing often requires sacrifice, patience, and foresight. It may not bring immediate recognition, but when trials come, it endures, sustains and gives life.
